Our Team & Our History
Andrew Dennis
Andrew Dennis has been captivated by the magic of storytelling since the moment he first held a camera. What began as childhood skits with his brothers has evolved into a lifelong pursuit of cinematic storytelling that is deeply personal, emotionally resonant, and visually driven. For Andrew, film isn’t just a medium, it’s his bloodline and heartbeat.
With a bachelor’s degree in Cinema, Andrew wears many hats: he writes, directs, edits, acts, films, and produces. This full-spectrum involvement in every project reflects not only his versatility, but his unwavering commitment to bringing stories to life with authenticity and care.
Driven by a constant hunger for growth, Andrew approaches each film with the mindset that it must be drastically better than the last. His work is marked by evolving artistic vision, emotional vulnerability, and a desire to connect with audiences on a human level.
At the core of everything he creates are the people who mean the most to him. His family, his brothers, and the close friends who have stood beside him through it all. They are his rock and his heartbeat. He’s grateful to have a circle that encourages him to dream and to fly. Always.
Andrew hopes that through his films, viewers feel seen, moved, and inspired long after the credits roll.
Allison Felty
Allison has always been drawn to the power of a good story. What began as a creative outlet in high school, writing, acting, and entering short films into local festivals, has grown into a lasting passion. A lifelong friend and creative partner of Andrew Dennis, their shared love for storytelling has fueled years of collaboration, from childhood church memories to college film festivals and beyond.
By day, Allison is an elementary educator. A career that reflects her heart for people and her ability to find meaning in everyday moments. But after school hours, her world shifts from lesson plans to camera lenses.
With a strong voice in writing and a steady hand in producing, Allison plays a vital role behind the scenes while also bringing depth to the screen as an actor in many of their films. Her favorite stories are redemptive, hopeful, and just edgy enough to move and challenge the audience. Whether it’s laughter, tears, or quiet reflection, she loves crafting moments that resonate.
For Allison, filmmaking is more than a creative outlet, it’s a calling that continues to inspire and push her forward. She’s passionate about learning more of the craft and telling stories that matter. As part of the Dennis Films team, she’s excited to keep creating work that leaves audiences with a lasting impact.

The A1’s Since Day 1
While Andrew Dennis and Allison Felty are the core creative team behind Dennis Films, none of this would be possible without the people who’ve stood beside us from the very beginning.
Matthew Dennis has been an essential creative voice contributing to writing and helping bring stories like Neuvita Inc. and Freakin’ Fantasy to life with imagination and heart, but more importantly, depth.
Abby Turbyfill has supported us in countless ways, often capturing behind-the-scenes & marketing content and helping bring our work to the screen and to social media. Many of the images you see throughout this website are thanks to her keen artistic eye for detail.
We’re also endlessly grateful for the unwavering support of our family and friends, especially those who’ve been with us since the I.C.S. Productions era. Our parents, Eric and Shannon Dennis and Tonya Brown, have been our anchors, showing up time and again with love and encouragement. A special thank you to my grandmother, Jan McNeil, whose constant support continues to mean the world whether it’s helping plan for a premiere, or appearing in a short film, she’s always there. Caleb & Sadie Dennis, have also been supportive in so many ways. Sadie has been a creative force in poster designs like UnbelievaBowl and Pop Rocks. You also may not see Caleb on the camera much, but he’s always helping behind the scenes whether its pitching in to set up for a film, or holding an umbrella in the pouring rain over a light so we can get the perfect scene.
Dennis Films is more than just a creative brand, it’s a family built on belief, dedication, and shared dreams. Check out this beautiful team of people below.

Chapter 1
I.C.S. Productions
2005-2018
Dennis Films began as a dream in the hands of a kid with a camcorder. Back in middle school, I started a production label called I.C.S. Productions. It wasn’t about prestige, and it certainly wasn’t about perfection, it was about joy. Creating stories out of thin air, turning school nights into film sets, and recruiting my brothers and closest friends as cast and crew. We didn’t care that we had no budget. We had imagination, and that was enough.
We made films like Arnold, Broken Boundaries, The Cow Guardian, and The Ten Year Coffee Break, each one a chaotic, heartfelt burst of creativity. These weren’t just funny home videos; they were moments frozen in time. They were our childhood, our humor, our way of understanding the world. Looking back, the real magic of I.C.S. Productions wasn’t in the plots or props, it was in the freedom to create without fear, and in the memories we built while doing it. The innocence of childhood. “We can’t go to sleep because we’ll wake up older. We can’t let these nights, steal away, half our lives.”
That era stretched from middle school through college, and as we grew older, those silly stories started to mean something deeper. They planted the seeds for the craft I would later chase with everything I had. I.C.S. Productions was where I learned that storytelling can bring people together, reveal parts of ourselves, and leave a lasting imprint, even if the only audience is your own family & friends.
Chapter 2
Dennis Brothers
2019-2021
After college, the world felt bigger and lonelier. The safety nets were gone, and adulthood hit fast. But I felt this undeniable pull to create again. I wasn’t sure what the end goal was, I just knew I had to make something. So I gathered my brothers and closest friends, many of whom were still in town, and we began a new creative chapter: Dennis Brothers.
This season was wild, weird, and full of heart. We drew inspiration from SNL, and other sketch comedy legends. We wrote bold, off-the-wall skits like P.P. the Party Prius, Phobia Phobia, and the #Thursdaynights series. We dabbled in vlogging, experimented with tone, and leaned into the chaos. It wasn’t polished and that was the point. There was a raw joy in just making something for the sake of making it. Our team got together every Thursday night to discuss plans, goals, and video ideas.
The Dennis Brothers era happened in the middle of the pandemic, during a time when the world felt heavy and uncertain. Humor became our way of pushing back against the darkness. It gave us purpose. It gave us connection. And though some of those videos now make me laugh (and cringe), I’ll never forget what they meant to us. Those projects gave us a reason to gather, to laugh, and to stay creative in a time when everything else was paused.
As we all began to grow up and go our separate ways, that chapter gently closed. But it led me back to something, or rather, someone important: Allison Felty. A close friend and collaborator from my earliest days of filmmaking, Allison and I reunited creatively and began dreaming again. We didn’t know exactly what Dennis Films would become, but we knew we were onto something.
Chapter 3
Dennis Films
Dennis Films is where all of those seeds from childhood, from comedy, from friendship finally started to bloom. In the beginning, we were still finding our voice. Allison and I made videos just to stay sharp, even when we weren’t fully proud of the outcome. We showed up anyway. We believed that consistency would lead to clarity and it did.
Freakin’ Fantasy marked a turning point. It was our entry into the Knoxville 7-Day Shootout, where we were given a category and elements to include, with only a week to write, shoot, and edit a short film. It pushed us beyond our limits. We grew more in those seven days than we had in months. We discovered that we loved narrative work, not just comedy, but story-driven films with meaning, tension, and heart. We fell in love with the characters and the writing process. My brother, Matthew Dennis, plays a key roll in several of the films you see today. With his acting talent, and his gift for writing, he always helps us take the stories to a deeper level. You will find this in our most current film, Neuvita Inc.
That revelation led to Pop Rocks, our first “dark comedy” a quirky, slightly twisted short with upbeat music and unnerving undertones. It wasn’t just funny; it had layers. We fell in love with the process. With the characters. With the feeling of getting it right. And when we premiered it to friends and family (some fans, some confused), we knew we were onto finding our creative niche.
Soon after, we found the Southern Oasis Film Festival and entered their Two-Week Twister competition. In those two intense weeks, we created UnbelievaBowl. That film became a breakthrough not just in style, but in soul. We built a team of passionate, talented artists who gave everything they had. We shot scenes in the evening, reshot the next day if they didn’t feel right, and I edited late into the night while we all held full-time jobs. We were exhausted but alive.
When UnbelievaBowl premiered on the big screen, I’ll never forget the moment. My team saw the final cut for the first time in a theater full of strangers. It was surreal. It was almost as if a spark was ignited in us, and our hearts were set on fire. Something changed in myself and my whole team that day.
Since then, Dennis Films has only grown. We began developing a feature-length script and even filmed key scenes in Colorado. In the background, we’ve been quietly building something much bigger. I also wrote and directed my first true passion project, Missing Pages, a film that completely changed my life, and saved me, in ways I can’t fully explain. Missing Pages is currently running its course through festivals nationwide and we are eager to share more about Missing Pages with you later this year.
Our latest award winning short, Neuvita Inc., dares to ask: What would you give to forget the moments that broke you? Set in a near-future world, this film explores the tension between pain and purpose, and the danger of erasing what we were meant to confront.
Dennis Films is not just a production label. It’s a heartbeat.
It’s the culmination of childhood dreams, pandemic laughter, late-night editing sessions, and stories we’ve told first to ourselves, and now to the world.
We have so many goals, and plans now that we can’t wait to share…
And as we always say…
Onto the next.
With all our love,
Dennis Films
